Bon Secours Mercy Health (“BSMH”) Data Breach Exposes Personal Information: Murphy Law Firm Investigates Legal Claims

BSMH recently detected suspicious activity on its Workday test environment, indicating a data breach. Based on a subsequent forensic investigation, BSMH determined that cybercriminals infiltrated its inadequately secured Workday test environment and thereby gained access to BSMH’s data files. The investigation further determined that, through this infiltration, cybercriminals potentially accessed and acquired files containing the sensitive personal information of thousands of individuals. - Names
- Social Security numbers
- Dates of birth
- Addresses
- Other demographic information
